Grass Court season always poses a very problematic content capture for me. The tournaments aren’t as forward thinking around access and general coverage with in the grounds. So the solution was to build brand content with key partners outside of Wimbledon and Queens. It was a busy time executing these interviews and setting up last minute activations to make the most of this time.
New Balance offered us two hours with Milos Raonic, we decided to join Roehampton tennis club for the location and captured a range of photography, interview and social content all geared toward showcasing the mens collection for grass court season.

Next up was ASICS and Steve Johnson, a well known and well loved player from the US who unforunately lost his Father/Coach in 2017. If you remember Steve from this season he did extremely well in the run up to Wimbledon, devoting each win to his Dad in emotional tribute to him on court. We caught up with Steve at his flat in Wimbledon before the tournament. See below!
From ASICS to Yonex in one day… we were invited to attend their Athlete shoot and were promised time with each athlete. The likes of Stan Wawrinka, Coco Vanderwege, Azarenka and Casper Ruud turned out in force. It was a great couple of days spent with Yonex and what ultimately set us up to cover them later that year in New York and then again in Melbourne Australia.
